HONOLULU HAWAII

Dear JIAGGJ,
Again we are in an Internet room - much cheaper!
We are on the island of Oahu, Honolulu is the capitol.

It is very hot, hot hot.
We have walked Waikiki beach & had a paddle in the Pacific hunting for coral that has been washed ashore in tiny pieces. It is white. The beaches are packed with baking people and as it is Sunday a lot of families are picnicing under the shady trees. The banyan trees are enormous with roots above ground.
We have tried to find the hotel we stayed in last time but neither of us can remember the exact one!
Tomorrow another island close by called Lahaina and we will do a tour there.
Our love to all my little darlings,Grandi xxxxx

Comments:
No problems with the virus. They think it came on in New York. They took every measure poss to contain it & in Los Angeles they gave all a free day out so they could sanitise the ship. Must have cost a fortune!

Glad to hear you are well and enjoying Hawaii. Thanks for the birthday presents. I shall have a wee drink in the wine glasses to celebrate your arrival. Good organisation to have them delivered whilst sailing in the middle of the Pacific.

Don

NOt looking for full time work right now, planning to do as I'm doing till April then had of for the summer (when I will be working full time) Come back in Autumn and reassess. Keep getting little extra bits added at the moment so no real worries.

Gald the bug missed you, car going fine, don't like automatics though, much prefer a manual!

Love

Duncan

Mon: Glad you're both O.K. Sounds fantastic - Hope you picked up some coral pieces to add to the girls treasure collections. Day trip to MK for the bowl today, Missed the chicken sarnies and the rice pud (and you of course) and had a whirlwind visit round Maxine's, Andy's (Linda was looking after Archie there), Becks & David Lloyd for tea. Home knackered by 7.45 then had a nice phone call from Diane. She wasn't sure how long you'd gone for. It's already a year next month since she lost Al so she's arranging for some friends to come to help get her through the day.
You can tell Grandad that the tax man has jeopardised his chances of the Granny flat for a bit. A nice big bill for disallowed expenses going back until 2000 AND 700 pounds worth of Interest - Well pissed off!! AND they can take no official action against the B*****D Agent who did the tax returns.

So glad you didn't catch the 'bug'.Sarah was on Waiheke Island last Monday. She is enjoying living in Auckland and has now bought a house there.Enjoy your visit.Love Sheila

Lots of love AbiXXXX
