LAHAINA
Dear JIAGGJ,
We waved to Lahaina as we steamed past - too rough for the tenders to launch. It was disappointing because whales wre in this area. We did see some but they were a long way away.
31st Jan 07
Crossing the EQUATER ( that white line on the world puzzle we always look for Alexander)
Grandad & I were"Polllywogs" (1st timers) so had to go before King Neptunes court. We had to be punished for eating too much so we had to kiss a fish (real) & got covered in gunge(spahgetti, baked beans, eggs etc) Then into the pool one way or another which was a revolting mess - you would have loved it! Now we are "shellbacks"
So we are now cruising in the SOUTH Pacific - our 3rd day without seeing another ship.
It is very hot with warm breezes & one of us is like a lobster!
Lots of love to you all, Grandi xxxxxxxxxxxx

Thur - Love the sound of the baked beans & Gunk - Look forward to the photo's. Decided they're not too hot on Children in Church at Worcester! As part of my 'Do something new each week' after swimming I went to Malvern Priory as a school band were doing a lunchtime concert and you could bring your own lunch & have tea/coffee. They have a nice childrens area (like Brighton Church) so Jack & I had our tea & gave him his lunch then (in a very respectful manner) I was told they were recording the concert & it was implied that Jack wasn't welcome - so I left - Stuff them it was a hell of a walk uphill to get there!. Georgie back at school though still pretty coldy. She came to Music with Mummy with me & Jack yesterday & really enjoyed it so I couldn't really justify keeping her off any longer (she's such good company for Jack though!). Jack 'sort-of' fed himself for the first time yesterday - bit of help on direction but he was spooning by himself - Covered in yoghurt by the end of it. Girls haircuts tonight Jen wants to grow her fringe but I think she looks a bit yuk when she always sweeps it to one side - Have to get some really nice hairclips. Lots of love for now Abi XXXX
Dear Mum and Dad
Sounds a bit kinky if you ask me! Must be lovely to be baking in the sun, tell Dad to get the factor 50 on!
Jo has had trouble logging on to your site so we will sort her out when we see her at the weekend. She asked me to tell you that all is well in Brighton and has given me the meter readings though I'm not sure what to do with them?
Grace and Alex are doing a sponsored skip this week so I have put you down for a pound! Don't worry I think one is probably their limit!! We have all had upset stomaches this week, particulary Alexander, I think there's a bug at school. Don is going over to the Clockhouse to get the adaptor off the phone we have to send it back before end of Feb.
He has been extended unofficialy until Easter which is a relief although they haven't been able to sort out any work from home.
Isabella has been swimming every week with school and despite moaning about it was very surprised to find herself in the top group. A lot of her friends couldn't swim at all so she was quite pleased with herself particularly as she was allowed to wear a bikini!
Alexander has been busy at parties, Rupert and Owen at Activity Land and has just started reading, and has been put up to the next level.
Love to you both
Becky and family

Grandi & Grandad,
I had my pre-school booster injection today. 2 great big needles. One in each arm. Mummy promised me a lolly if I didn't cry. Like I would squeal like a pig at 2 little jabs. I'm far too brave. Miss you both lots.

Fri: Shocking phone bill today 28.88 on the Internet. Ah! Decided to sign up for Talk Talk's 10.00 Internet as a cheaper option then surprise surprise they now have free broadband in this area - Nice of them to tell me! Signed up but won't be operational until 12th March so won't be quite so frequent with my messages. Off to Jill & Dom's tomorrow night. Are all going to Charlottes 'Activity Land' type party 4-6 then Jills cooking us steaks & gammon joint for Sunday - Can't wait. Teetering on the 11 stone on my scales so still going well.Georgie better now & full of beans at bedtime tonight singing along to High School Musical. Lots of Love Abi XXX
Busy end to the week over in Swindon - two days work in a row. Got two more booked in next week so may have to slow down a bit. Panto finishes tomorrow but the other shows are starting to hot up a bit to compensate. We sang and danced rhythem of life for the first time on Thursday and it was pretty damn good! Am off to London on Friday to see the sound of music! Won't be as good as the film.
Not heard about the summer so may mail to prompt them. Not much other news, just busy and wondering when I used to find the time to work full time!
Glad you enjoyed crossing the equator. I assume at some point you have too cross back so can laugh at any new people.
Love
Duncan
