Panama
Dear JIAGGJ,
We went up a river into the jungle in a dug out canoe,(yes, Grandad did it in the end!) to the village of the Embera people.
Beautiful girls wearing a tiny skirt round their bots with lots of necklaces and flowers in their hair. Boys wear thongs with a bit of cloth dangling at the front.
Their homes are thatched huts on stilts.
Still no animals except a few chickens, two dogs and a cat!

Abi--just book me the same as everyone else, but if I have to sleep with Don the least he can do is pay for me! Hope Jack will come to me when I get back, keep showing him my photo.

Hi folks
Sounds like an interesting trip - dugout canoe, who'd have tought you'd get Dad in one of those!
Play is going realy well. I've learned all my lines and we've been through the whole play and blocked it (plotted out the large scale moves - who goes out of which door etc). I think it's going to be pretty good.
We've also pretty much finished seting Rhythm of life in Sweet Chartity - the problem there is I'm not convinced the people involved will be able to sing in 3 parts as well as dance! Time will tell.
Seeing Ab and the brood this weekend. Not going to make it to Disney though!!!

Did Dad put on his Rohan thong to keep in with the villagers - Hope you DIDN'T take Photo's if he did!
Accidently gave Jack cows Milk last night & he woke up with a VERY angry rash all over his body. Panicked as Measles Jab today & gave him the daily dose of Piriton Syrup by mistake and then came into the playroom to see he up ended my whole cup of tea (Luckily not on himself!) Not a great start to day but he's had jab & is O.K. though Georgie came home from school feeling sick. MAJOR development with Jack is he's just started launching himself off walls & furniture & comes lurching towards you like Frankinsteins Monster - He's definately got the walking bug now. Goergie loved her trampolining though had a false start as really stropsey after school (Major Kevin!) & turned out she didn't want to go with Minnie's Mum so I cancelled all arrangements then she decided after all she would go - Huh!
Checked out all the arrangements with Becks for Disney this morning so my next job is to book - Fingers Crossed all O.K?

Fri- Jen gone to Dance Festival at High School, very excited! Jack climbed up stairs and came down by himself backwards - Clever Boy - All O.K. after jab - phew! He can now say Poppy, Felix and Furbie (last one very useful!). Had night out on Wed with Julia, Wendy & Sue - really nice.
