TOKYO JAPAN

Dear JIAGGJ,
There is not a lot of old in Tokyo - but we found some, a Shinto Shrine and a Buddhist Temple. We were allowed into the Plaza of the Imperial Palace but were not invited in for tea!
Super Japanese BBQ for lunch, we all had to wear little white pinnies and had our own chef. We heard that those waving cats we see in the windows in Brighton are to bring good luck to customers in restaurants and are placed near the door.
It is getting cold.
We saw the little children being collected from school by Mums on bicycles - the children wore helmets and sat in chairs on the front. Some Mums had 1 at the front and 1 at the back! It made me miss you all.
Lots and Lots and Lots of love,
Grandi xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Mum & Dad.
Mum just checking Dad hasn't jumped ship as you've just been signing off from 'Grandi' on the last few messages!
Nicki Dilley came round this morning & she's quoting me for the last few jobs. Chosen material for landing & Jen's bathroom - Beck was my valued 2nd opinion (and the cleaner and Nicki!), also taking up our bedroom curtains & re-pleating and the playroom ones & an elephant blind for the glass panel at the side of the front door. Had Lauren to play with Jack this morning & coped really well with the 2, Jack really enjoys playing with Lauren. Jack has suddenly found a head for heights as he climbed onto the window ledge of the bay window and was standing up waving out of the window. He's climbed up on Jennis coloured drawers, the radiator & had stood up on her windowsill, climbed up onto the blanket box in his bedroom & finally managed to reach up and open Jenni's door - ALL IN ONE DAY - Arghhh!!!!
Robs off to Monaco for the day on Thurs & has a really early flight from Luton so is staying at his Mum's wed night & staying in London Thurs night as he's business in London on Fri. To add insult to injury he told me tonight that he's going back to Monaco on Tuesday as the big boss wants him to have his 'personal' visit as he's going with others this week. That's when he was already away on Wed night for a Branch Manager's Meeting. Now he's really starting to work for the money (and so am I!!!). Georgie did go to Trampolining tonight & got her Grade 4 Certificate but I don't think I will re-enroll her (although Wendy offered to take her again) I just feel she gets a bit too tired & it's a bit too much of a commitment for someone else to always take her. I'm also trying to get her into swimming lessons at Lower Wick on a Tuesday as Hannah goes and Holly's trying to get a place too so Sue, Julia and I could take turns in taking them so we'd only have to do one in 3 each - Fingers crossed! Take Care - Lots of love Abi XXXX
