CAPE TOWN SOUTH AFRICA

Dear JIAGGJ,
Well, last night when we got to our room we had a chocolate bunny and some eggs on a plate waiting for us so it felt like Easter after all!
Today we have bitten bunny`s head off and guess who had it?
We had another beautiful day and went to the top of Table Mountain in the cable car which holds 60 people and the floor goes round so you have a good view of how far the ground is below you! Our tour also went to the fort but there are no soldiers there now.
In 12 days we will be home and are so looking forward to seeing you all. I hope you have all your spots on the map because we have got a few prize just in case you all managed to do it?
Today we are in the Internet by the Waterfront so I could write a long one. I only have half an hour on the ship`s card so I think I will be able to find places in the Canaries and Madeira but probably not in Namibia.
Lots of love as always,
Grandi xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Dunc Break a leg!! You have a very critical Audience this time - I mean your nieces not your sisters who I am sure will be cheering you on!
Abi another super time in Brighton did you clean the oven? Glad we weren`t in church
Mags yes I would love to come on the Friday night - will ring when I get back. Hope Holly got top marks
Jenni what a lot of eggs did you save me one?
Did the rest of you have any?
Mum /Olwen

Mon Eve: Jen plans to eat all of her Easter Eggs - sorry! Didn't clean the oven (didn't use it apart from ready meals) - Rob did clean the outside of the balcony windows if that's any consolation!
Lovely hot day here pottered around the garden until 3 (got very enthused with pulling out the nettles in field that were growing through the fence - Rob & Jack had 3 big bags to take to the tip). Planted a bit cut off Grandma Bickerton's Lilac Tree from Calvert Close (Linda has been nurturing it for us) so fingers crossed it will take here. At 3 all went round to Julias for nibbles & stayed till 7 - nice relaxing evening for us all.
Duncs coming round for lunch tomorrow so might see if Auntie J is in so we can all pop over (Rob back at work).
Speak to you soon
Abi XXXXX ps. We're frantically catching up on spots!

Tue Eve: Had a nice day as Dunc's came over for the day. Can testify that your car is now clean (by the 4 months of grime now on my drive!). The girls helped Dunc (well a bit) so he can blame the smeary windows on them! Had a walk up the Malverns this afternoon though Dunc & I had to carry Fat Boy (Jack not Rob!) for a lot of it as couldn't get the pushchair over the rocks. The weathers been lovely so have been out gardening and an re-discovering the fence at the end of the garden as it was covered in grass.
Lots of love Abi XXXXXXXX
