DURBAN SOUTH AFRICA

Dear JIAGGJ,
Escaped the city of Durban by travelling 2 hours through sugar cane fields and villages and hills to Shakaland - the home of the Zulus.
The Zulu village was constructed for a film but is now a living and working village. We had a show of dancing and the War dance was quite scary! Enjoyed seeing how they lived and worked.
Happy Easter to you all. We hope the Easter bunnies remembered your eggs.
Love you all lots,
Grandi xxxxxxxxxxx

Hello Olwen and Iain,
Glad you are enjoying yourselves. Your Blog is so interesting I printed it for Holly to read as she has to report about different stories from around the world for school. I finally met Becky at Brownies quite accidentally so that was nice and to catch up on your progress. She will be so looking forward to your return and of course the children as well. I know you must be desperate to see them by now!!!
Did you know Rosemary went to Peru on a walking trip in aid of Cancer Research? She went with Lorraine and walked for ten days sleeping in tents with no mod cons - can you imagine, no showers, hairdryers etc? Well done to her although I haven't spoken to her so don't know if she has recovered yet! Just to let you know I have booked the Birch for 7pm on Friday, 27th April so hoping you can make it. Have to go and fetch Kirsten now. We're off to Tenerife on Tuesday until Sunday so look forward to seeing you in the very near future. Happy sailing to you both.

Love Mags xxxxx
P.S. Many thanks for my lovely birthday card, Olwen.
