LAS PALMAS GRANDE CANARIA

Dear JIAGGJ;
Nearly at the end of our trip around the world and so looking forward to seeing you all.
This is a big city and we are only mooching around looking at the shops (yes Grandad but only because he is looking for shoes!) We have had 5 days looking at the sea, sea sea!
But dolphins and flying fish have passed us by and this time we saw them.
We have been dancing on the ship nearly every night and all our clothes still fit us.
Lots of love to all,
Grandi xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Dunc What a star! Congratulations it sounds as if the little ones were spellbound. I will finish the blog on the very last night as I have 14 minutes left on the ship and I am going to use every one! Then I will get on to your blog when we get home. We are both thrilled for you that it all went so well and I am sure you have enjoyed spending so much time with your sisters and families before you left.
Becky make sure you answer the phone on Sat morning as we have little money on our phone card. We hope to be off between 9 and 10 and the journey is about 2 and half hours.
Abi so glad that we will see you all as well
All of you We have always looked forward to opening the blog and reading all your news especially at the times I have been the most homesick ( that includes hearing from our friends as well)
The blog site has been great because even when we were at our farthest away from England you all seemed near. DonÂșt ask to see the photos as I have about 150 ish pages A4 size!!!! Doing that on sea days has kept me occupied.
Love to all Mum Olwen

I'm sorry that my geography lesson is coming to and end but so glad you had a wonderful holiday. I'm sure you can't wait to see your family. Let me know when you are next in Congleton. I was in Brighton for a day at the end of March and thought of you.We go to Kent for three nights once a month. David goes into the office and I visit friends and shop - hence my visit to Brighton.Hope to see you sometime. Mum's cousin,(widow) Beryl Millington, who used to live at Brownlow, is in the Canary Islands at the moment with her gentleman friend, Roy Turnidge (widower), who used to live at Moreton across from Great Moreton Hall. You might remember them?
Love
Sheila

Hi Mum & Dad,
Lovely to hear your last bit of news & really looking forward to Saturday. Had Gemma for 2 hours this morning but bit of a disaster as she hasn't been for about 6 weeks & Jack cried when he saw her & was a real cling on - I kept hiding but he kept finding me so didn't get too much done. Rang Dianne Sinclair to thank her for the Birthday Card & she's off on a Med Cruise on Friday on her own for 8 days. Picked Linda up from Malvern Link at 4 with the idea of Jenni & Linda having a bit of quality time in Next & Matalan choosing an outfit for Jen's birthday but I took Georgie & Jack in too to look ay the school dresses & there was NON WAY Georgie was going to be left out and was grabbing stuff to try on. We ended up wrecking havoc in the changing rooms with Jack tearing around pulling opne the curtains on the other changing rooms & yelling at the top of his voice.
Becks getting you some food in for Sat and if you didn't fancy cooking on Sunday Linda has said that you're more than welcome to come to her to eat with us so worth bearing in mind (as you'd get more time with the kiddies as you won't see them in the week!). Beck & I did chat about going out for Sunday lunch but Beck thought you may be a bit off eating out now but I wondered if you'd welcome the chance to put off feeding yourself for just a bit longer?
Lots & lots of love Abi XXXXXX

Dear Mum and Dad
Ive been to the Clockhouse and everything turned on, Les put them on early so that they would be nice and cool for me to put your shopping in on Friday.
Don coming on his own to pick you up as I think there won't be space for much else with you and your luggage, you could always call him on the mobile as well, I'll tell him to have it on but he's not going anywhere.
Meeting Cathy, Rachel and another friend Ros for tea and Grace/Issy going swimming.
Issy got another two badges at Brownies so despite sewing three on which ended up to close together I am now behind again!
Love Becky
