WALVIS BAY NAMIBIA

Dear JIAGGJ,
A bumpy ride into the desert on salt roads and as we were on the back seat our bottoms got battered!
But what a sight! Miles of gigantic sand dunes as far as you could see. We had a climb up one but with our legs we didn`t get to the top.
Love to you ALL

10 days to go1 mum xxxxxxxxxx

Hi Mum & Dad,
Thur & am off to Linda's with the kids for an overnighter to save a really early start tomorrow for Wicksteed Park with the baby lot. Kev is due here at lunchtime to play golf with Rob & they're sampling the nightlife of Worcester so decided it was better to stay clear!
Had a nice day yesterday pottering round at home. Georgies friend Holly came round at lunchtime and we all went to the Park behind The Splash in Malvern. As if I didn't have enough with 4 children we got a 'clinger on' as her Mum was too busy with her 'boyfriend' to pay her any attention.
Have a good few days - am counting down too now.
Lots of love Abi XXXXX

Dear Mum and Dad
Back last night from best ever trip to Brighton. Great day with Abi, Jo etc which made the kids holiday and then believe it or not the Morrisons were there for the heatwave! We did nothing but bask on the beach in the scorching sun and play in the sandy play area. No problem watching them as Alex made friends with some big boys and spent ages tunnelling in the sand and hoisting bucket loads up and down the chute. Left the place spotless as Ashley and Sam down for two nights and then Jo and her friend. Went with Jo to lambing day and another hot day out. Grace was thrilled to nurse a baby lamb and had her first pony ride. She absolutely loved it but thought it was a bit bumpy!
Issy cried going to the lambing as it made her think of you but I showed her how near it is to you coming back and we're counting the days.

Hi

First night last night and it went pretty well. Had over 100 in to see it with a few I knew and they were all very complementary about my cameo.

Ab - don't get too excited about the first act, I walk across stage 3 times in total. But the start of act 2, well that's another matter.
See you Saturday.

Hi Mum & Dad,
Saw Dunc in his show today & WOW! he was fantastic and I felt REALLY proud of my big brother - didn't know he had such a good voice & what stage presence!!! Saying that his performance in Act One was very feeble 'Man who wanders aimlessly accross stage for no obvious reason!' Got our programmes signed by Duncs (Got one for you) & the kids had a photo with Dunc's in Costume so they were all really excited.

Had a nice day at Wicksteed Park yesterday with the baby lot. Picnicing with coats on & a blanket wrapped round my legs as the weather had turned cold again but the kids had a great time. My friends still don't seem to have grasped that I've moved as packing up at 5 I was asked why was I rushing off. Got home at 9.45 after we'd gone via Yeardley for Fish & Chipos to make sure Roland got fed as Linda came back with us as she looked after Jack today for us. Roland came up at 3 to pick her up. Jack was really gribbley this morning so really hope he's not coming down with something. Rolands off to Scotland tomorrow so Linda's coming back down on Tuesday afternoon till Thur morning. She's going to take Jenni shoping after school to Malvern Link Retail Park to choose some clothes for her birthday.
Really looking forward to seeing you both , we've really missed you. Really gutted that we can't get down till the Bistro Live weekend but it's only an extra week so we're counting days.
Enjoy the homecoming part - Lots of love

Well it's all over. Bit flat today. After all inute for minute Daddy must be the best part ever.

Great to see a lot of people I knew, including the family came to see it. Now just got to get to Turkey!

Now flying from Manchester so to MK this afternoon to drop the car off then a train to Manchester.

Hotel overnight (paid by Neilson) then flight tomorrow. Should be in the resort by about 11 local time.

Really sorry I missed you. Keep up with my log, the girls have the address.

Hope the trip has been everything you hoped.

Dear Mum and Dad
Yes I had a lump in my throat watching Duncan, the play was excellent, as good as something you'd see at MK Theatre and what a part Duncan had, he stole the show! You should have heard Abby whooping when he took his bow, and the girls were awestruck! Don was a superhero and spent 3.5 hours in the local park keeping Alex and Grace amused, luckily it was a lovely day. Just back from the Clockhouse, found out that it is Richard who has been regularly mowing the lawn and he is going to put some lawn feed on this week, and cut it again just before you get back.
Everything in the house ok. Did you get my emails about the dentist?
Seeing Dunc later, he is leaving the car at your house and then we are picking him up and dropping him at MK station later, feel really sad to be saying goodbye. Jo down in Brighton with her friends doing the final sort out, lucky her the weather is in the 80s again.
I will get you some food in later in the week let me know if there is anything you really fancy, some cocktails maybe?!, we havent done very well with the stickers but I have enjoyed following your trip, i was especially relived to know what ocean you were in when we had a recent tsunami. However the children have pined like crazy for you it seems ages since we were last at the Clockhouse with you on Boxing Day, the house seems very empty when we go over.
Lot of love Becky

Sun 11pm - What a late owl am I!! Realised we've got the haircut on Monday so real result that I can come over earlier than I thought!
Nice day mooching around at home. Beck really jealous as Rob cooked us a Roast Chicken Dinner (& I did the obligatory Rice Pud - Need to get another pudding under my belt now I think - I'll have to try a Bread & Butter). Starting to get the garden in shape - well starting! Want things to be looking nice as sure you'll be up for an 'inspection' pretty soon after you get back - though Beck says she's booked you up with quite a few appointments. Hope all goes O.K. on the journey home.
Feel sad Duncs gone we seem to have got a lot closer over these last few months. Probably as he's had a lot more time not working so we've seen more of him - it's been really nice. We'll keep blogging!
Lots of love Abi XXX

Dunc - Can't bloody get 'The Rhythum of life' 'Swim to Daddy' out of my mind - keep humming it...

Dear Mum and Dad
Yes he's gone, I picked Duncan up from the Clockhouse on Sunday night and he left the car looking pristine outside the house ready for your return. We did have a false start as he left his phone in your car, lucky he realised before we left! Dunc had tea with us and then I dropped him at the station to catch the 8.00 train to Manchester he is flying to Turkey this morning.
Children back at school so real scramble this morning to find football kit, PE kits and all the bookbags but still managed to forget Issys library book which apparently she had given me for safe keeping! Weather boiling hot and lovely to see all the girls in their summer dresses and felt very pleased with myself that they all had sandals ready courtesy of Clarks in Brighton!
Love Becky

Hi Mum & Dad,
It's only been a couple of days but I can't keep up the pretence that I'm NOT rushing back to see you on your return as I AM rushing back to see you. I did get a bit worried that after 4 months of peace & quiet and after he'd survived the 4 month Cruise Dad's heart wouldn't be quite up to The Tillings leaping out of a cupboard shouting 'SURPRISE!. Becks said she couldn't cope with any more surprises as well. So we shall be wending our way to Little Brickhill on Saturday morning and hopefully will arrive about the same time that you do. Don't worry we have a bed booked at Linda's so we won't be outstaying our welcome.
Had a nice day as last day before the girls went back to school. Afternoon went to Priory Park in Malvern with Julia, Hannah and Lauren so had a nice time.
Rob's finally got round to ringing David, Auntie Josie's brother & they're having a game of golf next week (Now the weather's turned nicer he's desperate to join a golf club!).
Counting down the days....
Abi XXXXXX
p.s. We've been doing our stickers (admittedly with a bit of help from Duncs towards the end!)- so Jenni's looking forward to reaping all the prizes!!!

Dear Mum and Dad
DUNCS ARRIVED IN TURKEY!
Had a text from Dunc this morning and he has arrived safely in Turkey. Already met up with someone that he knows and gone for coffee.
Love Becky
