Dublin Ireland

Dear JIAGGJ,

Thank you all for your lovely birthday wishes (and Mums and Dads for their super present). I had a lovely day on board ship, mostly sleeping in the sunshine, and I hardly moved except to eat
Last night we had a 5 course dinner so this morning we are in Dublin trying to walk it off. We are doing a trip around the city this afternoon. On the way in from the port all we saw were buses and more buses, one huge traffic jam. At least the sun is shining.
We sailed very slowly from England,I think we could have got here quicker by canoe! We feel quite young on board, we heard them calling for a stretcher this morning.
Love you all,
Grandi xxxxxxxx

Hi Grandi and Grandad
Only sleeping and eating sounds fantastic, just need someone to change the nappies!
This has to have been Alexander's week, sports day, lots of practice sessions for his violin performance at MK Theatre and last night he was officially invested as a Beaver. He had a friend who took him up and seconded him and then he said the promise and got his scarf, woggle, and not one but six badges plus a plan of where they go. Mum where are you when I need you?!!!
Out at the cinema with Jo on Saturday and then off to the Linford Canal festival.

Mum & Dad, You just missed Rob by a whisker as he was painting the town red in temple Bar until 2.30am on Friday morning & flew home at lunchtime. He came home to find us in total disarray as we had a teacher training day so Julia, Sue and Clair all decided mine was the place to be as we had all the play equip so we all provided stuff for lunch and the kids had a great time on the 'play area' as Jack calls it. Georgie, Hannah and Holly went to Minnie's to play at 3 and Meg came to play with Jen so it was still all go till I got them and took Meg home at 7 - no wonder I'm so tired today. Am a golf widow already as David invited Rob to make up numbers in a golf comp today 12pm onwards. Luckily Jacks asleep and I've stuck the girls in front of a DVD so all is quiet. I'm out with Julias at her sisters concert in a church in Bewdley but not really looking forward to it, but tomorrow we're going to West Mids Safari Park with Sue & Julia so weather permitting should be good.

Carry on enjoying your hols & make sure you don't come off on a stretcher.
Lots of love
