Well your timing is impeccable, you missed the lot, lucky you!
Well Don left in a snow storm and returned in one. Coming out of school at 5pm yesterday after all the parents evenings, it was suddenly a blizzard, nothing on the weather report to predict it at all. My car was completely covered and it came down all evening. I was so fed up as Don had rushed back from the airport so I could get over to Cathys and she had cooked me a ROAST DINNER and there was RICE PUDDING in the oven. My first meal cooked by someone else in ages and I was determined to get there. Any way I had to admit defeat, the roads were icy and the snow didnt stop until 10pm so I went to bed in disgust.
This morning it is a different day the sun is shining and much to my relief I have been able to get the car to the garage, it keeps refusing to start so I was desperate to get it in before we left for Brighton. However the key alone is £100, so the bill is going to be big.
Look forward to seeing you soon mum and dad, get the antibacterial footbath ready!

Abi, this makes your glasses seem like nothing..
Arrived with 3 kids in tow to pick up the car at 5pm, only to find that nothing had been done as it had failed the MOT as it had a broken bit that made the car dangerous to drive. Apparently when they couldnt reach me on the mobile they just stopped work. Now I won't get the car back until they have got the new part, £350 just to get it through the MOT and then it still needs the service, another £200 and the keys coded. I burst into tears in the office and the man has promised to call me first thing Monday and let me know if they can get the part. So in the mean time we have to keep our fingers crossed that we can get the car back otherwise we are stuck for Brighton as we can't get three in the back on Dons...
Ahhh!
