Las Palmas Gran Canaria
Dear All,
Good day on dry land! We took the open air bus and went to new places. The old town was rather nice. Had a proper cup of coffee but couldn`t find any churras (remember them?)

Glad you managed to get off the boat.
Weather better here now. Pete & Lucy came to us for the day on Sat so we had a very slippy walk up the Malvern Hills.
Sun we were wined and dined at Becks and couldn't belive all the snow they'd had (thought Don was just skiving off work now he's not on contract!). Had a lovely walk wading through the snow but a very bad drive back as it started snowing really heavily and was bad news on all the motorways. We did well and came accross country from warwick so missed the worst of it and still go 1/2 an hour of our dance lesson in as we didn't want to miss the new move - ladies solo spin (good eh!).
Got back to find Hazel had cleared our drive as well as theirs as their car once parked had slid back down their drive into the road (luckily no cars were coming and they'd all just got out).
More heavy snow forecast for later today so we'll see.

Duncs: How are you coping with the snow and did you get down to Brighton at the weekend.

Not been to bad here apart from last Friday. Didn't get to Brighton though. Got to Simon and Sheila on Friday but with more snow falling on the M23 and freezing tempretures overnight we decided to stay put.
